What is Spiritual High?

To demonstrate a perfect standing of this subject, let’s deconstruct ‘Spiritual High.' My take on spirituality is something that is way beyond any religion for division.

Rather, spirituality first unites all the cells of the body to evolve, and secondly, after the union of all the cells in an individual and it unites humans while unveiling an epitome of humanity.

So, spiritual high refers to the moment of detachment from all materialistic and ephemeral experiences to engross the bonafide value of existence to feel the blissful ecstasy without the consumption of any intoxicants or need of anything else. It undoubtedly strengthens our connection with the supreme. While giving us a fair chance to demystify that this material world is not more than a shadow of reality. In the desert there is no water, there is no happiness, but the real water of actual happiness is there in the spiritual world.

The initial experiences or realizations will only serve you with intangible growth (such as soul fulfillment) and not tangible growth. However, in the long term, it will act as divine guidance to move you from a seat of compulsive consumption to mindful living. Ultimately, entering the eternal kingdom of a cosmic creator.

Now the question arises, how can we pursue the ecstasy of external bliss to experience tangible and intangible growth simultaneously. But one must pursue their growth without being attached to the rewards and completely involved in the peerless process.

The two major ways of attaining the spiritual high depend upon reflective realizations and elaborative execution defeating the renaissance of resistance. There is so much vague literature that fills our thoughts with material energy – newspapers, magazines, novels, etc. Our thinking which is now absorbed in these kinds of literature must be transferred to spiritual literatures or Vedic accents like (Puranas/Gita) if you’re open to it.

Ultimately, after molding, the thinking one should always think about supreme Godhead or energy and at the same time continue over the prescribed duty of feeding fighting, relaxing, or any form of activity. With our activities dedicated to supreme Godhead or energy and your mind and intelligence fixed upon it, you’ll attain it without a doubt.

As the Supreme Lord conveys to Arjuna in Bhagwat Gita, that he should not give up this occupation but while he is engaged in his occupation he should remember Kṛṣṇa.

In absolute status, there is no difference between reference and referent. Therefore, we have to practice remembering the Lord always, twenty-four hours a day by chanting his names and molding our life’s activities in such a way that we can remember him always.

If we have a strong sense of love for the supreme lord, then we can discharge our duty and at the same time remember him. But we have to develop that sense of love. Arjuna for instance was always thinking of Kṛṣṇa, he was the constant companion of Kṛṣṇa, and at the same time, he was a warrior. Kṛṣṇa did not advise him to give up fighting and go to the forest to meditate.

I hope we all can imbibe the undistracted devotion of Arjuna while regarding God first before anything to experience the ecstasy of eternal bliss for entering the eternal Kingdom, which is never destroyed, can be approached by one who is not bewildered by the attractions of false material enjoyment, who is situated in the service of the supreme Lord. One so situated can easily approach the supreme abode.
